I`m using Win7 64bit.

The disk management tools in Win 7 work fine for me to create or resize partitions. What kind of things are you trying to do with them?

I`ve two partitons on my HDD; C: (system)-150gb , D:-80gb and I want to change it for C:-100gb and D:-130gb. I can`t do it with the disk management tools in Win 7...

If you have the free space you can use "shrink volume" for C and then "extend volume" for D.

You may have to move some files around and possibly delete some restore points or old backup files to make some space available but it should be able to be completed with the windows tools.

I can`t do this... I can shrink C: and than only extend C:, there`s no extend option for D:.

You probably need to move D back into the space created when you shrunk C, and then try extending it.

That's odd I thought Windows 7 was able to do that... my apologies :o

cheesy999's link to the EaseUS software should provide you with many more options for disk management
