PC sensor panel

Bought a Samsung Tab A off ebay on the cheap. Spacedesk app will not install for some reason...like it's in a loop. Factory reset had no effect. I may never get to try this it seems.

You can use Odospace Remote Panel. It can work through USB(ADB) or network. I've been using it for years, it has the added bonus of being able to display data from several computers on screens you can scroll between. I can highly recommend it based on experience. If you use it through the network, you can completely ignore all of the application and ADB prerequisites and configuration, Aida only needs the .dll to be installed.

It's been cycling for hours now...not going to happen in it's current state. I did see that Odospace earlier, but it did not show up in the Google Play Store search. I'll try it again.

This is why my keyboard is still the Logitech G510.

This is why I use a 7" HDMI DIY touchscreen with Task manager and GPU-Z running on it.

Finally...what a ordeal. Thanks for the help!

put the tab on silent too, i kept getting the gmail notifications on the phone till i did.

It'a tablet I got just for this use...no Sim card and I never use a phone for email. This template belongs to someone else...I just tweaked it a bit. I'll work on one for myself a little at a time.

Didn't you need to sign in on the tablet to download the app though, which means it's using your gmail account. It is connected to the net too on wifi.

Zero notifications...just like my phone as far as email goes. I have the tablet connected to the pc with a usb cable. The pissy thing is I did not realize it until I got the tablet that this Samsung won't charge thru a usb port. Luckily it has a great battery life.

Edit: Confirmed...if I unplug the usb cable the tablet loses connection. Perhaps I have a oddball setup?

A little more tweakage...

I had my phone connected to usb to keep it charged, but it did still show the panel stats when disconnected

I'll eventually find similar stuff, hdmi or dp, as going over hurdles and all that mandatory 3rd party software, hours of tweaking, just for a few numbers on a tiny screen. I hate android from the depths of my being, after tweaking each new device even more.
Just my 50 cents. I'm glad the OP made it.

My guess is I need to manually input the wifi port in the software's settings.

Yes, I would have preferred a device with a Windows operating system...I'm terrible with phones and the like. Thank goodness I talked myself out of a Amazon tablet with the Fire OS lol!

I bought mine from Amazon. :)

My pitiful first attempt designing a sensor panel template...

Do you happen to have recommendations for a browser or something that would show fullscreen on an old Android? I have a Samsung S5 tucked under my screen so Android 6.x, I guess.

Couldn't find a better alternative and went AIDA64 route but it annoys me because it gets somewhat expensive :/

I would be the last one to give advice on any of this stuff lol. The AIDA64 was a expense up front, but it is good forever unless you opt to update it every year...I likely won't.

The problem with these updates is that this becomes a problem if you upgrade often enough. Don't ask me how i know :D

I think that's a good first attempt. I have the same problem. I have an idea for a modification to help with the text on the background. Can you post the image of your template. I'll try something with it and post it back.

Not certain how to post the image atm.

What I am displaying currently looks like this:

- I am as much or more interested in how the monitored numbers change vs state at the current moment. Tried to avoid running anything else on the PC, one thing I am missing that'll require additional tools is FPS but so far haven't taken the plunge to add more stuff.
- Using muted colors - both to not be distraction in a dimly lit room as well as try and avoid burn in on the phone screen.
- Currently using some really weird Kiosk type lockdown app to get page to show in fullscreen. Interestingly, the same page on normal browsers looks misaligned. The old browser on the phone messes things up a bit and I had to correct for that.

Having problems with paint since installing Win 11...can't seem to find a way to downsize the image. I'm not using a legit copy of Windows and that may have something to do with it. In Win 10 it had a slider on the bottom to resize.
