It would be cool to have a "length with PCIe power cable(s) plugged in", as my 9800GT physically fits, but I can't plug in the PCIe connector if a hard drive is in the slot in-line with the card. However, one could just add a fixed value like 1/2in. to the card length if the connectors are on the back.
