Picture Gallery to show off our...stuff

When you mouse over your name (left of inbox link) on the title bar there is a couple blank spots. How about adding a link to our uploaded pics that we uploaded to any threads we posted pics into, and add another link to a gallery for personal pics we may want to show off. The personal pic gallery could be as a reward for achievements like hitting 4 stars or more. No doubt there would be limited space too.

I would have to imagine it would be difficult to keep track of what images were uploaded by a user, Atleast if uploads were done via an alternate image hosting site. I suppose it would have to be something bound to a user name, i'm admittedly far from professional when it comes to this type of technology and the implementation of it, but I can't even think of how that might work with anything less than a great deal of effort.I admit it's an interesting idea though

I don't think that will be easy to implement.....

Why would I want to see all the 1000s old pictures (games on sale) I posted in the Current Sales (games section) and memes... :confused:

I think Facebook is a better place for that.

its more of a way to managing our images/content that is hosted here on TPU. If you dont want to look at them, then dont look, wear a blindfold!

The more secure would be uploading it and having a mod or admin check it off, which would take away from their time and that would also put strain on the servers which are already having issues.

It would be nice in your profile to have a upload link. Hopefully people would use it. Then it could also link your pics and modds uploaded to the case modd gallery

I've seen other sites do it. How much work not sure

What would be an easier way is a sub forum where everyone could start a thread like "DeathtoGnomes's stuff" "P4-630's stuff" and so on and just upload photos of your hardware in your own thread.

Perhaps with an option to lock commenting from other users if you wanted.
