I just discovered this site and spent some very informative time reading hardware reviews. Great stuff folks.
While I have been known to spend time blowing away brain sucking aliens, I make my money pushing pixels around as a professional graphic artist. I build my own systems at home and for our small department at work and have relied on the gamers magazines for hardware recommendations and build advice. I'd like to say that the graphics sites and magazines are a help, but their journalistic integrity is less than trustworthy. I've asked for more coverage of items like 3D mice ('mouses'?) and graphics cards for graphics pros with little response.
How about a bit of consideration from you folks? No game has ever worked my computer as hard as rendering an animation in After Effects or loading a BIG file in Blender.
