Hey guys,
I m really pissed of this time, Installing windows was never so hard. But this time It just kicked my
The problem is my friend gave me a Mobo and Processor (MSI 915p Combo + 3 GHz Intel Pentium 4)
The problem was the board restarts itself after every 1 or 2 minutes.
I checked the temps in BIOS and the CPU temps were going high to 80 degrees. Just cleaned and applied some thermal paste and again fixed the HSF over CPU. The system ran fine for now.
The Problem starts from now on. Booted from Windows XP CD, setup collect info, copy files and restart for getting itself in GUI.
When it tries to get in GUI for installation a BSOD appears saying some figures X000000000... like that and a message that your hard disk has viruses or corrupted so setup can not to be continued.
Tried different RAM modules, and 2 HDDs. One of them was an empty 20GB, but nothing is going to happen.
Also tried a pcie card rather than the built in one.
Please help me to solve this out.
Thanks in advance.
