The card is approx a week old and was bought new and the cooler is three days old. I installed large red evercooler heatsinks on the mosfits and a mix of gray Thermalright and gray Arctic cooler heatsinks all over the card. I used premium heat paste and adhesives (where needed), MX2 on the Gpu and Arctic silver adhesive to hold on the rear large heatsink and several of the other mounted ram heatsinks. The card idles in the 45c range and never leaves the 53c to 55c range under load, while heavily overclocked. This is a 300.00+ factory overclocked PNY 285 gtx retail card with a 61.00 retail cooler, a Acrtic cooler Extreme 280 gtx tri fan cooler. I would estimate I added about 15.00+ worth of heatsinks (that are not even required by Arctic cooler to be installed), but I'm a overkill fan of cooling. During operation it is near silent and even at 100 percent can hardly be heard. You may wonder why I'm selling this card, well I bought it as a project and intended to sell it after making a beast out of it. It scored 16622 on vantage mark with my rig and has been tested to the max. Now that it's a beast it's for sale and it's time to move on to my next project. Here are some photo's
Oh almost forgot the cost of the card is 315.00 shipped price anyplace in the lower 48 states of the USA. The box will not be coming with the card due to weight but everything else in the photo's will. I feel this is an extremely good price factoring in the cost of the card, the price of the cooler and heatsinks , plus the time and energy to get it modified and installed. It is first being offered to TPU members then it's off to ebay. Hope you like it.
