I don't know why but would like to get the answer for this my memory seams to be slower than it should be..
memory reading test:
Unknown 2000 MHz Asus A7V400-MX SE KM400A Ext. PC2700 DDR SDRAM 1623 MB/s
memory writing test:
Unknown 2000 MHz Asus A7V400-MX SE KM400A Ext. PC2700 DDR SDRAM 563 MB/s
memory latency test:
Unknown 2000 MHz Asus A7V400-MX SE KM400A Ext. PC2700 DDR SDRAM 159.3 ns

my computer specs:
Asus A7V400-MX SE
Amd Sempron 2800+ socket A
2*Kingston 512ddr
Sapphire Radeon 9550 128mb
Huntkey 350watt PSU silent

Compared to other computers that the program show I have very bad memory specs...
Can someone tell me why?
I will soon :banghead: and

nope, wouldn't have a clue because i have the same ram and much higher scores, perhaps some timings info and a more complete sig, ie. your cpu speed, fsb, that stuff, then we'll go from there

ok, that helps a bit, timings would be nice, and while your in the bios, why don't you see if you can get your ram up a bit to say like 200mhz, 400 effective. this may be beyond the specs of your ram, but since your ocing, why not bring up the ram if you can.

and yeah, all of those boards have stock 400mhz ram, yours is only like 333, you are severely underclocked it seems, and with the semprons, xp, duron proc. memory is a bit more important, then it is with say the athon 64 system i'm running

I can't find those timings anywhere from my bios.. Neither I can't change the 166(333) to 200(400).

i don't know what to tell you then, there are many forum users here though, maybe they'll have a solution, best of luck though dude

Confirm exactly which type of memory you have in your PC, is it PC 2700 or PC 3200 ?

Then look in the bios for: - Advanced>Memory Configuration>Dram Clock.
If it's set to "By SPD" then chances are that you have PC2700 memory fitted and it's running at spec. If not, then adjust that setting to alter the memory speed.

With CL3, you can't expect great latency scores...

Try to change CL to 2.5 and then check your stability and score.

The memory is kingston's KVR400X64C3A/512
512MB PC3200 CL3

And did you find the setting in the bios that I mentioned ?

PLEASE MAKE A SIG, this will aid in us helping you. Be sure you enclude model # on major components.

The memory settings are greyed out.
You will have to find the memory section in your bios.
Then highlite the top block, look at SPD, this will make all the settings visible.
Change to manuel settings, the first one should say 333, change that to 400.
Save and exit, the system will reboot.
Now you will find out wheather your memory will run at 400 or not.

Hi again didn't find anything in the bios and my nerves just run out. So I bought a new mobo and now I got almost half better test results. But could I do something to my memory timing to them go even quicker? They are now 2.5-4-4-9.
