Lucky me.. got this code today with red light on CPU. Pulled out X3D and inserted 5900X, plugged everything in and 4d again.

I removed ram, swapped GPUs, CPUs. Worked great up until an hour ago.

Some google says a bunch of things, has anyone had this happen?

Some consensus says I have to RMA the board..
 
Seems RMAing the mobo is both generally recommended based on your troubleshooting, and specifically recommended for the symptoms.

At least 1 other reported a similar issue caused by a leaking cooling loop.
I assume in both the aforementioned case and your case, that some board-level component is damaged or 'cooked' and unreliably functioning.

IIRC, Asus' boards AM4 and AM5 both, are known to under-report and over-supply voltages. Not impossible the board cooked itself. I'd definitely give your X3D a good testing on another board (if possible).
I had a R5 5600 recently go in for RMA: I wasn't OC'd, (only on PBO) and my R5 5600 slowly lost a core out of the blue one day; I'd be concerned that there could be some inter-linked problem/CPU damage.
 
If you already swapped everything but the motherboard, it's probably the motherboard.

I ordered a Dark Hero. Should be here on the first I think.. Dammit.

If this one dies, then I guess no more Asus :laugh:

I will RMA my board shortly after I finish poking it with a stick :cry:
