lol I'm having a very bad day hehe

I think third world countries have way better hehe
I use my cell phones 4g and kicks better than this mule network

I have an XB3. It's terrible. Feel free to dunk on me for it. I already know that admission gives every lethargic NetAdmin out there carte blanch.

Well I need to see what's going on with my Shaw modem, not real good!

Just a tiny improvement only by switching to 2.5Gb port on the router....

Oh and it's an XB6 modem. Not my choice, it's what my cable co sent me.

Handy little test to see how well your router does with regards to bufferbloat.

Router or ISP or both?

I'm usually 20-30ms ping, since the closest one to me is about 700km.

Usually get a B+ to A......................upgraded from 350/10 to 900/15, and it got worse lol well 3 people watching netflix and watching youtube and playing games at the same time

Should note its good to be careful with QoS it can hurt you. Thought there are ways you can tune bloat if your router is more advanced.

Except your unloaded latency is insanely high...
Clearly no issues with your router on the other hand.

It obviously tests the ISP as well, to a degree, but the test is designed to detect buffering issues with the router.

Here you go:

I have fibre optic to my apartment. Then Wifi.

hm....

With my ISP's generic Compal CH7465CE. Good enough for my needs:

Asus RT-AX53U.

Bufferbloat is the least of my problems. Let me show you something:

At least it's up for that time...

Time to be that guy, that just has to be different...
T-Mobile 5G(NR) Home Internet + CenturyLink 40mbps Bonded DSL
via Speedify (ISP bonding VPN) + Connectify (Internet Connection Sharing)
on a WS2019 3rdGen i5 1U 'box'

TMHI "Primary" + Cent.Link "Secondary":

Both ISPs as "Primary":

I live out in the sticks, and this setup still costs less money than Starlink
(while, allowing me the option of DSL-only for lower-latency)

CenturyLink Alone:

TMHI Alone:

Note: all test ran only once. time of day, day of week, and weather all can effect my Internet Connection Performance

That's about what I get so not as bad as you'd expect. You probably have the broadcom based XB3 which is actually ok but not very customizable.

I don't think I've ever lived anywhere that had "good" internet.
