I ran the test 2 days ago and we still have 30°C outside, so I'll post the results from Tuesday, 06 Sep 2023. CPU is running with 90°C limit.

You can see mine in my pic, it was 25(UK) (sensor outside of case) chuffed at my cpu temp though 51c/99%

You must be 20% faster single and I must be 24% faster multi core
75 x 1.2 = 90. You got 91

Apparently the RX 7900 XTX is garbage for GPU rendering. RTX 4090 CUDA is over double. Still nice to see the 13900K beat out a $2,000 AMD 5965WX

Just a quick and dirty run, my PC's all stock other than the tweaked memory. Didn't ever feel the need to push it, it's plenty fast for me nowadays and I am rapidly losing interest in competitive performance, I want my PC to be nice and fast and it's just that.

While Cine 24 takes longer to benchmark, my cpu is 10° colder during the test comparing to cine 23 (82° vs 93°). And it consumes 113w (106 ~122) comparing to 144w

I could probably get a ok increase with a OC on my 12700k, but not bothered as it is still quick enough for my needs, my cooling is more than enough for it.

So it's kinda crazy upgrading your CPU to gain 15% performance, while you can just overclock.
Still don't know what does AMD socket support really do other than tempting you an immature upgrade before they change the socket. :rolleyes:

Yep, Cinebench 2024 requires that just to even keep up with RTX 3080, and generation-wise, this is atrocious! Maybe an RX 7900 XT, but don't count on that!

This means that according to Cinebench 2024, no RX 69xx XT will stand a chance, IIRC!

Also, it makes a Ryzen 7 5800X look more like it's an OC'ed 3700X! WTF!

And were I a betting man I would say Maxon's programmers must have toiled a lot to optimize Cinema 4D for HIP. This here is what I mean when I say "AMD's driver is bad" and "Software and hardware are symbiotic, if one fails, both will", and AMD's driver is not just bad, it's atrocious. I don't think it's a secret to anyone how powerful Navi 31 hardware is, but what good does it make if the driver will invariably underperform and exhibit compatibility issues? Guess it's easier to call Maxon biased towards Nvidia and ignore the obvious, after all, their control panel is pretty and "ngreedia's" is not.
