yes, i made Intel raid, on the chipset that's not a problem...

i attached a screenshot of a new installed Windows 7 Professional SP1 Danish, installed using usb stick with the iso from digitalriver.

sry the shot is in danish but the customer wants danish....

it in basic says "3days to automaticlly activation. Activate Windows Now" and if i do i can only got 3 options...

Option 1: Buy a new product key online
Option 2: Use another productkey
Option 3: Contact Microsoft to get help to fix this problem.

option 2 don't work, when i put in the same serial this is what drove me crazy ever since Lenovo and other OEM manufactures started to use SLIC that u need their shitty version of Windows 7 to get Windows to get activated unless u use a Loader or Crack to get their "master key" or what u will call it activated...

#3 wont work as MS will not support OEM at least until you complete option one. Have you called Lenovo? can you even get into the raid utility?

that will only resolve in them shipping me a Windows 7 Recovery Discs which they can't figure out to ship with the computer from the beginning and make my customer wait for up to 14days before i receive the discs...

it looks like Advanced Tokens Manager worked for me, i took at backup of the token in the original Lenovo branded Windows 7 and restored it into the original Windows 7 i installed and it's activated now. i wasn't sure if this would work but it looks like it does, so that's one work-around for this shitty OEM problem...

as an extra notice, i can install KB971033 update without any problems and it's still activated so i hope it will stay this way forever ^^

The manufacturer is still required to put a sticker on the computer to show what license the computer came with, the sticker won't have a key on it, but it will say either Windows 8 or Windows 7. I was asking this to try to determine what license the computer actually came with, and what license is embedded in the BIOS.

Anyway, I'm glad you got it sorted out. For future reference, if you use my method, don't use a key you recovered from the machine. Just use a standard OEM Windows 7 Pro key. Then you will be able to use the phone option to activate it.

newtekie1 as far as i know only thing OEM manufacturers sticks on the case of a Desktop, Workstation or laptop is the Windows 8 logo badge no sticker that looks like where the key needs to go since it's all SLIC today.

and what does of Windows 7 Lenovo uses their OEM key bcs Windows 7 don't support SLIC which means that u will only get 237XB-GDJ7B-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx serial as shown as below here, if u run Windows 8/8.1 u will get a real Serial that u can actually use and activate...

ino this here is Lenovo's standard OEM serial for Windows 7 Pro but i masked it up anyway.

it does, and it also works, but with a pre-installed Windows 7 set to run in ACHI the registry edit don't work, so i needed a clean installation.

You need to install the RAID drivers in your system. This can be done easily during a new system install but is slightly trickier if you have a pre-existing system

1. Retrieve your Windows install/rescue disk (or, in Windows 7, make a new one via Control Panel/System/Backup and Restore).

2. Locate and download the RAID drivers for your system and place them on floppy or USB drive. Shut down your computer.

3. Load the new controller or switch the controller setting to RAID.

4. Enter your BIOS and set the boot disk to your CD/DVD drive. Start using your resuce/Windows CD

5. The rescue CD can now be used to install the new drivers off the flash card.

6. Restart with your hard drive as the boot. DONE.

actually i configured the ssd's in raid 1 in Intel raid at startup at CTRL+I and then installed Windows 7 no problem everything works fine.

You didn't even bother to read what I said did you? I even bolded the important bit about the sticker not having a key on it. It is just a square sticker that lets you know what license the computer actually has.

And, again, don't use the Lenovo OEM key, use a standard OEM key and all will be fine. I've done this countless times.
