Hello all. At my place of work we have a few users who are all of a sudden experiencing issues when trying to print through IE. They have a website they go to for some loan documents and need to print them. A few weeks ago they were able to just fine, now they cannot.
When trying to print they get a dialog box that states:
Cannot find
'file:///C:/Users/username/AppData/Local/Temp/23/about:blank'.
Make sure the path or Internet address is correct.
I have noticed that sometimes instead of 23 being in the file path it will be 29, or some other random number. I tried resetting IE with no luck. They can print fine through Chrome but I guess the company who houses the loan software doesn't want them to use Chrome because portions of their product don't work well with it. (imagine that)
Ideas? I am tempted to tell them to use IE for the site as a whole but when printing to just use Chrome. It's a band-aid for sure but at least they would be able to print their docs.
