Problem pushing 200 fps

Overclock your vram, download msi afterburner, configure it for your card like the image below (my 1070's are asus like yours) leave core clock as idk what 20xx cards can do gpu clock-wise but go ahead and crank the memory clock slider to 1000mhz, this will improve your cards performance (most people are able to do this with 2070 and higher cards).

Ok. Overclock vram from bios?

Multiplayer games have "dynamic environment" that can bring any PC to its knees. One moment you have a steady 150 fps, and one second later, several opponents jump into your close vicinity with guns blazing, flashbangs and grenades. You can't expect to run 2020 MMOFPS at a steady 200 fps.

Yeah there are more variables in multiplayer online games then just your computer, internet and connectivity.

Unless you are on a 240hz monitor, 200FPS is doing nothing for you.

The only game in recent times to benefit from absurdly high FPS is CSGO inherently due to the mouse input delay being directly tied to the frame rate.

I have Omen X25F monitor which is 240hz monitor, Just build pc for COD MW, I9 10900KF + RTX 3070, ram 32gb 3600, seting medium low, never reach to 200fps, I already OC my CPU to all core 5.1ghz.....OC the GPU , increase Power Limit to 104%, Core Clock +100 and Memory Clock +125 could not reach 200 FPS is always midling from 160-180fps....I don't know which and which bottle neck? any body could help?

Many multiplayer games are either unoptimized or too intensive to hit that kind of framerate. You could run four 3090's and still never get 200 because the game just doesn't support it.

Based on the reviews I've seen AMD is now faster for lower resolution gaming. It seems to be that nVidias wide GPU with low clock speed is best for 4K while AMD I'd best for high fps low res.

It all depends on what the hardware is. The higher the resolution the more load is on the gpu versus cpu and vice-versa.

I didn't speak about CPUs.

Yesterday i followed the guru3d forum and followed the OC guide for rtx 3070 xtrio model, the settings are:
  • Core Voltage +50
  • Power Limiter: 104%
  • Clock +60 MHz Dynamic GPU clock ~2025 MHz
  • Mem clock +1000
  • FAN RPM default
With cpu fixed speed of 5.1ghz and oc the gpu, medium, low setting with raytracing disable, reach maximum of 280fps, minimum of 220fps in multiplayer in 1080p.

True, also in 1080p mode, CPU will work harder then GPU, thats why in 4k or 2k matters in gpu not cpu, even though if you have i5 with rtx 3080 will beat i9 rtx 3070 in those situation
