Good friends, I have a graphics card MXMII Nvidia 8600M GS with a failure of devices when turning on, I reballing the VRAM memories (has 8 Samsung K4N511630E memories of 32 MB each) and the problem persists, so it is a failure of a damaged VRAM module.
I have seen the MATTS program to check the damaged VRAM, but it does not detect this graphics card as it is very old.
Is there a version of this program or something similar to check the VRAM and see which one is damaged?
A greeting.

The error that comes out in MATTS is this (tested with an NVIDIA 8400M)

As you can see the computer gets to work, but with that error (the hard disk error is because it is a test computer), the MATTS version is the latest published with the latest GPU database.
A greeting.

Yup, you have one of the GPU-gate chips. That was a thing for that generation of GPU's. It had to do with NVidia switching over from lead based solder to lead-free solder. The only way to fix that is to do a solder-reflow job on it. Even then there's no assurance it'll work. The hassle needed isn't worth your time unless you absolutely NEED that laptop to work. Get yourself a newer laptop and call it good.
