Problem with pop-ups.

I've always used AB+ since
learning that was supposed to be an old and unsupported product. However, its website hardly looks unsupported.

I'm wondering what sort of problems went away from you Sol when you switched? :) I'll bet I've experienced them myself without ever realizing it could have been AB+.

Sorry iv been a bit busy here is a recent one for starters

Personally not an issue iv had but my particular issue was browser performance related specifically Firefox and IE though that was years ago since I realiably used either browser I could never fully get over the sour taste that and it did odd things to videos on certain websites and once in a very great while I would have pages start to load and simply stop.

I use IE 11 without anything else. All the "do not track" and safety settings ON. Windows Firewall always ON.
I download software ONLY from the official sites. Multimedia files from torrents are always double checked with two antivirus and antimalware programs.
I do not click on "stuff", kiddo flash games, adds, or "likes".
I do not visit smelly websites (also pr0n has official sites :-P No need to visit dark "re-streamers").

I have no "pop ups" or any other disturbing rubbish... I am amazed with all the "tweaking" of browsers and systems some of you indulge yourselfs into.

Problems solved. AdBlock. Ad-Aware Antivirus. AdwCleaner.

Along with the regulars, CCleaner, Glary Utilities and Malwarebytes.

AdBlock, sorts out all the crap.
Ad-Aware and AdwCleaner, get the rest.

The others are the big boys keeping me safe.

Thanks all for the advice!! :lovetpu:
