Problem with RX 480 crossfire

Hello,
I have a Sapphire RX 480 8GB nitro+ OC that works just fine. I just bought a reference powercolor RX 480 8GB. The thing is both cards individually work fine, but when I try to use them both the computer goes insane, black screen etc. What is wrong? I would really appreciate any help.
Also, my pc specs:
CPU: AMD FX-9370
GPU: listed above
MOBO: ASROCK extreme6 990FX
OS: Windows 10 x64
PSU: 630W Thermaltake Berlin

The PSU you have listed is nowhere near enough to power a power hungry 9370 and 2 RX 480s

I do have 2 cores disabled and downclocked to 3.8GHz and It draws around 300W with one gpu.

Ok let's just dig into this

Even with 2 cores disabled and clocked at 3.8GHz

9370 will draw around 140-180W
Each RX 480 under load will draw 160-200W a piece

That totals around 580W give or take

Add in RAM, HDDs, and Fans

Than include that Thermaltake PSU is only 80+ Certified and at almost 100% of its capacity it won't be very efficient

Doesn't matter PCIe 3.0 is backwards compatibile

Yeah but for bridgeless Crossfire? Pretty sure it needs 3.0.

It's be shown already to work just fine with PCIe 2.0

Our very own Wizzard even did a review on it. I've even ran RX 480s just fine with a dated X58 setup which is PCIe 2.0.

How can you guys not realize it's the PSU. 630W 80+ isn't enough to drive Multi RX 480s and a 9370

No, seriously, if it was an I5 i wouldnt worry too much since their TDP is 100W +/-5%.
But with that 9370 idk how long will the PSU last until it says IM OUTTA HERE.

on topic, that PSU is really not enough for everything that you have in your PC. try and get a more powerful one and see if it works

Buy a better PSU , 800W and up for that system.

Unless you run that 9370 at like 4.8-5Ghz on all cores you are seriously holding back that crossfire setup.
