Problems with nitro+ 580 8gb OC

I've broken my AMD R9 280 and so the replacement has felt on an AMD RX 580. Among the various brands available my choice was for the sapphire nitro+ . I took the 8gb OC version. I purchased it used and apparently card looks in excellent condition. Being it the OC version, I was expecting in game configuration as GPU default clock 1250 and as GPU clock 1411. Of course in the compute mode, the one for mining, I would have expected lower values to be verified later. Among the various software, beyond the latest adrenalin driver 20.2.2, I downloaded MSI afterburn and trixx 7.3.0 to try to do a bit of overclock, naturally after setting it up and trying it properly.

The installation was without problems, I have launched GPUZ and the values of GPU default clock and GPU clock are identical, 1340. I expected them different but I decided to check the frequencies later then I look at afterburn and trixx . On the last one I try to move the cursor on the bar in the game page, I apply the modification and the clock values go down both to 1250 mhz, moving the cursor in opposite direction nothing happens, I restart the PC but there are no changes.
Then I try to see if working with MSI afterburn, I've enabled the monitoring of the voltage control , increase the clock of the GPU up to 1340 but it doesnt take the variation, as if it were stuck on those values. So out of curiosity I see if moving the selector on card on compute mode, and default clock raises to 1340 while the GPU clock remains stuck to 1250 and both values of memory to go to 2000.In general it could be that in compute mode default clock remains as such. But are these values correct?

I am in a dead end , I don’t know what are the correct values for this video card, Techpowerup reports 1257-1411-2000, but I’m not sure if I checked the right version, and especially how do I reset the default values without overclock?
I was thinking about whether to recharge the bios. I saw that with AMDdvbflashwin I can load the bios present on techpowerup but there are many version.
I would have chosen this:
Sapphire - RX 580 8 GB - Nitro+ - 2018-07-19 01:39:00 - 015.050.002.001.000000 - PCI-E - 1411 / 2000 - GDDR5 -

There are two ways to load the bios, the graphical one or the one via dos : why choose one rather than the other?
What do you think is the default bios of this card?

Of course before doing any operation I did more a copy of the bios two from GPUZ and two from Flashwin but also here I notice strange things : the bios made with GPUZ are 256kb , also the one present on Techpowerup, while those made with flashwin is 512kb , Why is there such a difference? I don’t know what have to do!!
Sorry about my bad English.

Being a nitro+ card there is a dual bios switch, open gpu-z and get a screenshot of the switch in the left position then the right position and post images here

Follow my directions and your problems will be fixed...

switch on left position

switch on right position

Anytime the clock is lower than default it has been modded. I will get you 2 bios later today.

Use this tool to flash only.

Follow the easy AMD flash video in my Signature

Put this bios on the right bios position.

@syma753dfx

Once done get a gpu-z screenshot of that position

What dou you prefer for my situaton flash via w10 or dos? Do you know why bios saved from ATIflash is 512kb instead of 256kb of techpowerup bios?

with Adrenalin OC.

I've got problems only with drivers, I had to reinstall them three times, I don't know why .

Due to bios flash, now lets get the other bios right.

On left position you need a 1340/1750 or 1340/2000 bios.

I have a set of drivers you can use that are way more stable and support the HD7970 all the way to the RX5700XT. They are Pro Drivers.

So I have to install drivers and bios .Ok

Do that other bios first.

If you have problems with your current driver, uninstall them and use the driver I provided, if you have no problems keep on using your current driver

eidairaman1, where are you???

Pull the card heatsink and get a picture of a ram chip, make sure white lettering is clear on the chip

Also clean the gpu die and heatsink and apply fresh thermal paste to the gpu die

Also use this program, run it like you are changing card brands, run twice in windows, once in safe mode. Update motherboard chipset drivers and restart before indtalling any gpu drivers.

I will be looking at your csrd for specific memory...
