Hello everyone,

im seeing this probably last month, every time i turn on my laptop, the prochot is red also in the limits showing thermal, but it can be possible to get 97 C from boot.

Any idea whats the problem? Im using Throttlestop around 2 years... never have this problem, its should only turn red when i get 97+ C which is normal for prochot set to 97 C :).... Thanks for any help.

Have a look in the Options window. Is PROCHOT Offset locked or unlocked? Do you see a lock icon near this setting? When a computer is booting up, some of the Limit Reasons might be triggered within the CPU before the BIOS has finished setting the CPU power limit register and before it has set the PROCHOT Offset register. Any warnings during boot up are not that important.

Run a CPU log file while gaming. That is when throttling is important. Attach a log file and some more screenshots if you need help.

Thanks for reply, Lock PROCHOT Offset is unchecked. Lock icon is only visible when checked. I dont getting any throttling in gaming mostly getting 92C peak cause high summer temperatures. In winter max i see is 85C. I just wonder why after so long usage of Throttlestop the Prochot text turning in red every boot, when it doesnt do before.
