Program that can replace FRAPS ?

So how to manually measure average FPS without FRAPS is it even possible ? Is there any other program that can do that ? I don't care these programs that can only show on screen display numbers!!! I've visited the entire internet and nobody can answer me to these simple question.

Most games have statistics and analytics tools built into the engine. For example, UE4 has "stat" commands. That said, they're geared more for troubleshooting hitches than benchmarking GPUs.

Fraps is the only one I know of that tries for all DirectX games.

Except FRAPS doesn't work for DX12 last I understood...maybe that has changed though.

That aside, MSI AB has FPS logging.... drop the data into a spreadsheet and VIOLA! Or if you only need OSD (your post is confusing in that respect), it has that too...
