In late June, Prolimatech unveiled its latest variant of the Megahalems heatsink, the Black Edition, which has a grainy matte surface that is designed to radiate heat better than the smooth piano-black fins on the Super Mega (an older black-colored Megahalems variant). Now, Prolimatech is taking it further with the Camouflage series of heatsinks based on the Megahalems and Genesis heatsink designs. The two feature fin stacks that are mostly black, but with a dash of pale green that blends perfectly with the color of chipset and VRM heatsinks on ASUS TUF Sabertooth series motherboards.

Both heatsinks feature fins with matte surfaces. The Megahalems Camouflage is an aluminum fin dual-stack tower-type heatsink. Six nickel-plated copper heat pipes pass through the base, making a U-shape. On each of the two arms of the "U", is an independent stack of fins. Some of the upper fins have a dash of the pale green color. The Genesis Camouflage has a unique heatsink design in which six heat pipes that pass through the base convey heat to two differently oriented aluminum fin stacks: one propagates perpendicular to the plane of the motherboard, the other parallel to it, hovering over the memory area. Pricing and availability details are not known.

Many Thanks to Maban for the tip.

If I had a Sabertooth motherboard, I would definitely consider breaking my rule and buy one of these based on its looks.

omg this is so sexy I almost wet myself.

too bad the green would clash with my red Fatal1ty/Crosshair boards

nice cooler. at the first time i guess its in marpat/digital pattern, but thats ok it has nice green

Looks fantastic, too bad I already have a decent cooler.

For 2nd cooler i thinK they can put another heat sink plate in thje middle like cooler master v10

Finally something that "fits" to rest.

got the sabertooth and this would act look awesome

It would look at home in my mobo...
To bad it would hit the lateral fans in my case, the tower one at least...

ProlimaTech camouflage CPU coolers...for the guy who likes going commando...

God damn it! And i just bought Asus Rog mobo!

Guess ill have to build another PC.

ME please! Me Please! ASUS never sent me sabertooth P67...BASTIDS!!! Gonna have to buy my own? With this cooler, I definitely will!

So is asus and Prolimatech double their sales with matching coolers and mobos??
I would certainly buy the second one if it fits my case and get some matching fans, the closest i can think are Noctua's ones though...
Still it is overkill, my good old Zalman cnps9500 keeps my cpu under 40ºc in idle with lowest speed and noise...
But for a 2500k if I ever buy one, it might be the perfect match...

It looks retarded. Buy a proper case with a solid side panel to reduce EMI and you don't have to care what it looks like in there.

Thinking WTF my self too.. People going crazy on these forums ? lol

1st of how the hell can you say that's camo ?.

my question is how TUF are those heatsinks like if i droped my case off a 6" porch step i bet those things would either snap mounts or the board

There was a stint of stupidly large CPU coolers released in the last six or so months.
Like the NoFen fanless CPU cooler, Scythe Susanoo and soon some more from noctuna if they decide to make their prototype coolers commercially available.

I have a Sabertooth X58 too and still have my old Megahalem in it's box. :P
