Proschot on my Gigabyte laptop this is on 90c can i change this to say 95c if so how

Look in the Options window for the PROCHOT Offset setting. If you see a lock icon near this setting, the throttling temperature cannot be changed. Lower the Offset to increase the temperature. Intel default is 0. Some manufacturers are setting this way too conservatively.

I think Gigabyte locks this setting.

Not locked. OK to adjust.

Here is an example of when this setting is locked.
An Offset value of 10 means the CPU will start to thermal throttle at 90°C instead of 100°C.

Thanks i have a unlocked bios on mine i have put the offset to 5 which puts it at 95c
