Xbox 360 controllers plug right up from usb. ;)

K. well if anyone has a logitech dual action i still want it. probably get it alot cheaper then a PS3 or XBOX one.

So I can just get an authentic 360 controller and slap it in a usb port and be good to go?

Yes the drivers for official xbox 360 wired controllers are built into Vista and Windows 7.

The wired 360 controller is pretty cheap, and can be had from $25-$35. Game Crazy is going out of business nationwide, see if there's on in your area and you might be able to pick it up for cheaper.

i have a wireless dual action logitech and it's much too large. the battery/wireless makes it too big for comfort.

i recommend the wired 360 controller - you can also get wireless and an adapter from mzoft.

ps3 wireless needs specific bluetooth adapters , wired is awkward unless you get a very flexible usb cable...
