Just a quick question,as I am having some strange things happening in my rig. My psu voltages according to M/B monitor are 3.3 =3.24 , 5=4.8 , 12=12.48. Yes I know that M/B monitors are notoriusly inaccurate, but for sake of simplicity lets assume these #'s are pretty close. are these numbers bad? ie low powering the 3.3 and 5 v line and overpowering the 12v line. thanks

while on the subject of power supplies im intending on moving from great britian to belgium love is terrible thing but i have a philips 19 tft monitor with its own built in power supply it uses standard power supply lead but the voltage here is 240 in belgium its 110 i think or 115 will it be ok i ran my external hard drive over there it was fine just used adapter and my pc uses 240 v should i buy a power supply unit over there or can i change it on the power supply unit

Snipe if you check the current rating on the sticker on the back of the TFT(or in the Monitors Manual) it will give its power rating if it says 110-230V your fine running it as it will use the current available my 19" TFT is rated as such
Power Supply : AC 90~264 V (47 ~ 63Hz)
means I can run it pretty well anywhere in the world and it will be fine(of course unless the Plug is different)

i would say those voltages are ok .. not great, but nothing you should worry about. your best bet is to get a multimeter and check them to be sure

I agree with Wizzard kinda looks like my Wifes Rig (GA-8IG1000MK) and how it reads High on the 12 and low on the 3.3 and 5v and have 3 PSU's to choose from 2 high quality and 1 low Qaulity(Tagan 420 Sparkle300W and Q-Tec400w) they all read about the same according to the sensors on that MoBo and on my ABit IS7 read perfectly normal.Don't worry I freaked out a bit too when I saw Voltages like that too and tryed a bunch of different MB monitors to try to see what was right

Atleast your 5v rail doesn't jump anywhere from 2.2-5.3. :p I'm gonna get a OCZ PowerStream in about a month probably.

Thanks to all! I'll stop freakin now, and thankyou w1zzard for advice and all you do here. my only problem is my multimeter is analog!

my power supply give 11.76 volts on the 12v line

is this acceptable?

As Wizzard said the only real way to know is to use a Multimeter and pick and empty Molex and run the machine under load and see how much its moving around. software wise Motherboard Monitor 5 can monitor High/Low for you but again is only showing it what the sensors tell it.Everest for example:
