Punkbuster kicks me

I've updated punkbuster updated my games and i keep getting "kicked for 10 minutes" and that's if Cod 5 will even play right it's jumpy and glitchy anyone know how to fix this
jumpy and glitchy online
and i keep looseing connection even though my connection is fine
 
Just a few ideas:

You running Windows 7 or a No-CD patch?

Got the latest patch for Cod 5?

Latest version of punkbuster?

Latest video drivers/directx maybe?

Updated NIC drivers?

Up to date, with Win Update?
 
I have Vista hp 64, Cod waW has patch 1.5 Vista is up to date,running Catalyst w/9.4, latest punkbuster,I did notice im getting some really odd ping #'s between 19-1254 normally 57-158
I tested my internet connection and i have a steady 998kb upload/2.2mb download. When i play online other player's are jumpy they appear close then far,if i can even play,if i can play smooth i get kicked

Anything possibly using up your bandwidth (and taking your CPU, RAM and hard disk performance along with it)?

No it's odd i just got kicked again,I kept getting "connection lost" warnings and server warnings for "breaking the rules" I dont have any mods and i have all the patch's
Does anyone think it could have anything to do with replacing my cpu cause it started after i put in the PII 920

The two issues shouldn't be related. You could try resetting to optimal settings just for the heck of it and see if that works. You might also want to uninstall and reinstall the game. And when you say you have the latest PB does that mean you actually went and downloaded pbsetup? Just running the pbsetup you currently have and hitting update will not self-update PB to the latest version. You could also try running pbsvc and you can uninstall & reinstall the actual PB services using that.

Edit: and if you're still having bad pings/choppiness, it HAS to be network/system resources that are being used up to cause that. Maybe you have a trojan or something. Or if you have a wireless router it could have been compromised...
 
If you're running Vista, run the game as Administrator.
