question about ATI Radeon 9550

Hi all,
I have a Gigabyte ATI Radeon 9550 with 256M. My problem is that , when I boot up my computer, the image comes so late that I don't get to see the first messages on the screen. I can enter BIOS only by blindly pressing Del.

Does anybody know how to fix it ? I'm a noob and I think it might be some settings in bios to remedy this, but I don't know which..

Well.. answering my own questions: this wasn't related to my video card, but to a setting in BIOS "Small Logo(EPA) Display" which had to be disabled.
