Question about my Monitor as a TV

Hello i have a HP 27m monitor, and i hooked it up with my cable box/TV, good picture and everything, but i have no sound? anyone know how to enable sound?

I would need the model number to determine that. And also how you are connecting it. Edit I missed it (HP 27m), lol.

The HP 27m does not appear to have audio.
How are you planning to get sound?
Receiver?

Your monitor has no speakers, and for some reason HP decided to omit audio jack as well.
Analog audio output on a cable box may not work w/ HDMI simultaneously.
Your only option is HDMI AV splitter (also called audio extractor).
Something like this:

Only way i can think of being able to do it would be though a A/V.
