right now i have two partitions on my hdd, both have xp installed. I want to to delete the first partition, c drive, and put the free space in the second partition, d drive. In partition magic i did the following things:
delete C drive
allocate free space to d drive
if i click apply changes it gives me the warning: "there is no active partition. are you sure you want to apply changes?" so i click no and now i'm stuck. also i cannot find any option to set D as the active partition.
in partition magic it says d drive is "logical". should i convert it to "primary"?
if i go ahead and click yes will it mess up my hdd/data?
