Windows 10? Crimson Relive or Adrenalin? Which R9 and How much PSU?

Os dont matter, I have a psu that is 4 years old now, I do heavy OC on cpu and got it originally for crossfire but both amd and nvidia abandoned dual card configs.

For you to have a code 43 and now this problem the card is toast, send it back and get a new card.

It is listed in his specs under his name. I have an R9 390 8gb card by XFX with an Antec 850w PSU. Latest drivers and Win10 Pro with no issues.
I have done some quick reading up on this gpu. What is the total Amperage of your rails powering the X2? If the total is less than 28A that maybe your problem. Or as it was pointed out the card is defective.

Edit @eidairaman1 you beat me to the response.

I I said up there, I have two cooler master RS-500-PCAR (I know about it's reputation l
One for everything
The other I hacked it. Pulled every yellow wire and every black wire. And distributed them on two 8pin Jacks (just to reduce IR drop aka. voltage drop)
The RS-500 claim that it has two 12v rails. One 18Amp Max and one 21Amp Max
So, yes I can't deliver two 28Amp per each 8pin simultaneously

That's half your problem right there. No matter what the reputation of the psu if it is not supplying enough Amp's the card will not deliver. Here or Or here read those links on what is being required. You are supplying 39 out of the 50 or 56 amp's required to properly run the card. Period. But that is not saying there is not another problem with the card as @eidairaman1 pointed out. I know he has seen it, I have seen it and if you are not supplying the proper Amps and Volts the card will not perform. I have done it before, low wattage psu or a connector not plugged in right. It causes way more problems and has people going down wrong rabbit holes because they feel or think their psu is up to snuff. Good luck

Dude the psu is weak and failed testing under a reviewer.

Running them in parallel doesnt boost output either.

Heres why

Your psu build quality is meh and it is just too weak.

http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page364.htm

Your psu max output is 360W, not enough power for the card, you would need a 750-850W Reputable unit at the least to have some cushion.

I asked the seller for return.
Until that I have the last Update:
The card works now with generic drivers
Trying to install last Crimson Relive driver version. It restarts during the installation. Then refuse to boot until i wipe the remaining in safe mode by DDU
These Symptoms are common with power hungry R9s according to quick research

Any Ideas!?

Thanks for help,
As the most experienced forum members suggest, the best for you is to return that and get another GPU for your needs.
