RAM optimisation (DDR4)

I updated tREFI value and performed some tests. Funny, cause right now I have same results as with default XMP profile @4000MHz.

For instance Cyberpunk 2077 had score of 88 fps with XMP@3600 and 83,5 fps with XMP@4000. Right now it's 84 fps. Not much gain if any I would say.

Cyberpunk has a high variance from run to run, it is not so reliable. Try shadow of the tomb raider and watch cpu game. Aida latency can also give indication.

Well, I had pretty much consistent scores in its internal benchmark. I've never noticed average deviation bigger then 0,1 fps in like 10 benchmarks. Just for the reference I returned to the old values (14-14-14-34@3600 on XMP) and 87,94 fps! (almost 4 fps difference) Which is ... weird..

May be that the auto-values on tertiary timings change a lot or some throttling. Try setting RFC to 264 and REFI to 65535, change nothing else, see what happends.

Guys, please.. I may be a noobie but I'm not an idiot, if I say it's B-die then I mean it. Thaiphoon Burner info in attachment below.

nobody said so, it was just weird that the timings on XMP were not flat as expected from a Samsung B-Die, if you were offended by my post, then my apologies if it kinda implied that way. The kit you may have might be a lower bin grade that can handle higher freqs with mixed timings.

On gear mode 1, its best to run CR at 1T..
for higher TREFI, you may need to cool the dimms before you increase the value, also the higher the TREFI, the near you get near the edge of stability, you may (or may not) need to add a tad of vdimm.
