Ramsinks on 9800gt how to?

Hi i was just wondering if it was possible to stick ramsinks on my 9800gt with standard double sided tape or do i have to use special thermal double sided tape.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Highly specialized nVIDIA certified/rebranded triplesided tape is required.

That is, any double sided thermal tape works as long as it is meant to be used as thermal interface. Office tape type clear doublesided tape is obviously useless for this purpose. And make sure you clean the chips/sinks with an organic solvent (propanol, acetone, eg.) before applying the tape as any greas on the surfaces will make sure the sinks fall off after a while.

You need thermal tape, cause the adhesive melts off regular tape, and thus your heatsinks would fall off and do bad things to whatever they happen to land on.
