Hi

To get the best advice from the TPU community

Login to the forum; go to User CP at the top of the page, fill in system specs; hardware brandnames and OS

Let others on TPU know
-if the system is overclocked and what third partie oc software is installed
-What temps the GPU is running at in game [Use GPU-Z to monitor temps]
-Make sure the game is upto date with latest patch [*if requires]
-Make sure DirectX is up to date
-Ensure chipset drivers for motherboard are up to date
-Run latest graphic drivers or last stable driver

Check the driver and get AMD's latest from the website for the 7850.
From experience, pink and green blocks appearing briefly is a VRAM issue on the GPU, but that was on some NVidia cards I was testing a while back (680 and 670).
As said above, download msi afterburner and monitor temperatures of the GPU. You dont want to be touching 90 degrees, regardless of safe operating temps.

Agreed. Check your temperatures, artifacts are usually a sign that you have thermal issues. The last time I saw artifacts was on my beloved MSI GT8800 Silent - which was dead soon after due to dust blocking the fan (yeah, didn't clean in a while and the heatsink was... special.).

what is your case (manufacturer&model), what fans do you have installed and in what directions they blow

Having the game minimised is not "in-game" and therefore those temps will be low xD
MSI Afterburner will give you a graph of what temps were like during the short period, so install that and see how high the temps were during game time.

Same thing happened to me once after eating a brownie ;)

Seriously tho, keep a camera handy for the next time it happens, or attempt a screen shot if it'll capture it.

i installed the newer driver version aka the one that you told me to and now i have to make some games to see if the problem will still ocure, i'll post here in 1-2 hours to inform you if its solved

As far as your problem goes the temps look fine. Which means it's either a corrupt driver or the card is defective. Try completely removing and reinstalling the graphics drivers. And if that doesn't fix it you have a bum card. You could at that point try underclocking your card and see if that works as a band-aid fix. Or you need to RMA/Buy a new one.

It doesn't sound motherboard related... Not saying it isn't possible but it's very unlikely.

ok , i will first try to reinstall the game since i belive it maight be a corupted script of the game, if this doesnt work i'll try the other things that you've suggested

to quickly see the load temps just click the spot on gpu-z where you see 33c until you see MAX in green, this will show the max temp gpu-z had recorded while running. leave gpu-z running and game for a while and then check back and it should keep up with the max temps. btw... I have the same gpu and manufacturer (only mine is the 2gb model) and 33c is what mine runs at at idle with a slight overclock and fan speed set a little higher.

My gpu model and specs
