Razer Blade 15 (2022) Slow Windows Boot

My Raze Blade laptop has an really slow Windows Boot for some reason. The average Windows Boot for me is around 18 seconds. Which is ridiculously slow, like, much slower than the average RB laptop for sure. I mean i pretty much tried everything to make the boot time faster by enabling Fast Boot in BIOS and Windows 11 Turn on fast startup. Nothing seems to be working for some reason. I know this is not normal. Does anybody know how to fixed this particular slow boot issue? Is there a way for me to disabled the Razer boot logo or Windows Boot completely?

Hard Drive: 990 Pro 2 TB

Well, what's different from a factory fresh one of those laptops?

Is that boot to usable Windows or just boot to login screen?

I don't understand what you're asking me.
Hi,
Might be referring to your 990 ssd used as not the original
Guessing if the 990 is not the original how did you install it ? cloned to the 990 ? or
Did you restore a system image of the original and then transfer the system image to the 990 ?

I perfer restoring system images over cloning personally.

18 seconds is really slow? Damn I am getting old.

Make sure you have not disabled hibernation and that hybrid sleep is enabled, if available. That way your laptop will be in a deep hibernation state instead of power off when you select shutdown. This is the stock setting on modern laptops and will give the illusion of faster boot times.

Windows could be borked, so a reinstall might fix this.

You can't get rid of the Razer logo during boot, it is shown while your computer is doing the UEFI portion of booting. The only way to hide that, is to use hibernate/sleep mode instead of shutting your computer off.

Dafaq is an RB laptop?

Fast Boot is usually enabled by Default in Windows. And personally (not the only one tho) - i'd recommend even disabling this feature (especially on an SSD). The improved reliability of a proper shutdown (a proper reset/restart too - where an eventual issue doesn't get save only to be present again after restart - as it can happen with Fast boot Enabled) - is definitely worth the extra seconds in my book.

Are you running a clean Windows (well, cleaner... cause by default - even that takes some extra work) or is it filled with proprietary bloatware (Alienware apps and all the extra crap - beyond the necessary drivers and some basic tools that are actually useful)?

Even the BIOS Fast Boot - is not recommended. It's why it usually comes Disabled by default - since that extra boot time involves some basic stability checks. Enabling Fast book skips those checks - thus, even if the system is unstable (hardware failing) - it can still Boot into Windows - where a BSOD might still try to save it, tho... might also be to late. That hardware issue turning from bad to worst - where a faulty component could even blow up at that point - since it's something that can happen in an instant - or at least faster than the reaction time of Windows fail safe features. Yet, those fail safe BIOS checks ups - could have prevented the system from booting. Thus, if you take to an IT Repair Service - it's easier and cheaper to repair (faster too) - incomparable to burned components which can cause more damage (the whole motherboard in some cases - and that's most expensive component in a laptop). Then again, we're all different. And maybe those extra seconds are worth more to you than the stability/reliability of your system. Maybe you even afford to throw it in the trash and buy a new & better one the next day (which is not something i could say - thus, the difference in values).

Anyway, you could also press Windows + R, write msconfig, click on Boot - check no GUI boot, click on Services + check hide all Microsoft services + Disable all (you might still need some of those services - this is just to check how fast it boots with the extra stuff disabled), click on Start-up + open Task Manager (in case you don't see those settings there - as it's the case on Windows 11) + Disable all one by one (again, just to see how fast it boots without - since some of this apps could still be useful, even tho - most are usually just proprietary crap or not really necessary).

Here's my boot time results:

As you can see here, the Window Boot/ GUI boot takes a good 19 seconds of my overall boot time. I've seen RB laptops with much quicker GUI boot time than this, like, within the 3-4 seconds range.

I'm asking about your comparison

How fast do they boot with the default hardware/software?
What have you changed?

Is this the factory razer OS, or did you erase it and install your own? Did you clone the OS? If so, how?
If you installed your own, how? What OS? What settings?
