Hello TechPowerUp Community,

i am new here and ask you for your Support in my case.
I need some help with my Razer Blade 16 from 2023
I got the Modell with an Intel 13950HX and RTX 4090
I guess the only Problem was the Intel CPU, i look in XTU and see if i do some Repack, and few Downloads it reached 100 degrees Celsius easy.
I do an -0.125v on all cores and do some -0.075 on ecores and cache

Do you have some other information for get the degrees down?
Can i deactivate maybe the onboard Graphics, and if yes safe it some degrees for me?
And my curser starts to hang a little bit and it feels laggy.
I know like install Repacks or something like that cost much Power.
But this was an 2k+ Bucks Laptop and i guess there are some few things i can do to let these Razer runs better ?
I also do an repaste of the thermal paste, few weeks ago. But doesnt use them for Gaming since them, i guess it doesnt do anything for the temps

Please Help me

Sounds like vapor chamber heatsink failure. 80-85C should be the normal High temp. Seems to be a more common issue on the Blade 16.

How can i identify an vapor chamber failure? Maybe there are some "better" mod vapor chambers or just the original ones from razer?

Must go to Razor's site and update the bios and firmware before anything.

Yes I agree. Update everything first. Next contact Razer support. If they deem it broken, RMA.

However 100c on the CPU is kinda normal. You also have a 4090 mobile (120watts), so that is consuming a lot of power as well.

Did it already

I need to do something to lower like at least 5-10 degree to not reach the thermal throttle ?!

It's designed to either reach 100c or the turbo. Intel 13950HX Max turbo is 157w at 5.5Ghz. That is also a good amount to be contained by a laptop cooler.

What prompted you to look into the temps?

When I need to run cool with my 14700/14900K model desktop processors, I manually set a 40x multi for both P and E cores. Leaving v-core on auto. Management Engine will utilize a lower VID vs having the same VID but trying to manually lower v-core. Which obviously doesn't always work, because VID....

For the video card, just lower the power slider on MSI afterburner. Should run a little cooler without sacrificing too much clock speed (where you need it for gaming).
