Razer, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced the launch of the Razer Cobra HyperSpeed, the newest addition to the Cobra line. Designed for right-handed gamers, the mouse stays true to the Cobra line's philosophy by combining performance, customizability, and immersion in a compact form.

"Cobra HyperSpeed is the feature-packed, lightweight wireless mouse we've always envisioned for gamers—it's loaded with optical technology across the sensor, scroll wheel, and mouse switches, along with Chroma RGB lighting, and delivers the perfect balance of performance and immersion." said Barrie Ooi, Head of Razer's PC Gaming Division.

Lightweight Control, Smarter Plays
Weighing just 62 grams, Cobra HyperSpeed enables smooth handling across various grip styles. It features 9 programmable controls and AI Prompt Master, allowing users to create game-specific macros and shortcuts. With onboard memory for up to five profiles, players can quickly switch between setups as they move across titles and playstyles.

Powered by the Razer Focus X 26K Optical Sensor, the mouse delivers up to 26,000 DPI and 99.6% accuracy for consistent tracking. Its 4-zone Razer Chroma RGB lighting supports 16.8 million colors and dynamic effects that sync with over 300 games for a more immersive experience. The Razer Optical Scroll Wheel offers triple the durability of traditional mechanical designs, providing more precise, tactile control even during intense gameplay. Meanwhile, the upgraded Optical Mouse Switches Gen-4 have been redesigned for a crisp, enhanced click feel and rated for an industry-leading 100 million clicks—ensuring unmatched longevity and reliability.

Versatile Connectivity
The Cobra HyperSpeed supports Razer HyperSpeed Wireless (2.4 GHz), Bluetooth, and wired USB Type C modes, with up to 110 hours of battery life on HyperSpeed and 170 hours on Bluetooth. For wireless charging upgrades (sold separately), it's compatible with the Razer HyperFlux V2 Wireless Charging System for continuous wireless charging, the Mouse Dock Pro for true 8000 Hz polling rate and RGB immersion, or the Wireless Charging Puck to unlock wireless charging on compatible wireless chargers.

Tailored for Every Player
The Cobra line is now complete, offering a range of products designed to suit every type of player—from casual users to competitive gamers. The Cobra HyperSpeed is the latest addition, delivering a balanced mix of lightweight design, high performance features, and versatile wireless connectivity. For those who want to max out every detail, the Cobra Pro delivers maximum customization and immersive Chroma RGB in the most advanced package. Meanwhile, the Cobra remains as the wired option for users who prefer a straightforward plug-and-play experience.

Kiddie-Karnival Lighting = No Purchase.
I would've been in the market for a Standard Cobra, but the selection is getting slimmer by the day.
Thankfully Razer didn't put RBG on the Deathadder V3.

How is this better than the already-existing Cobra Pro?
Is lighter and with better switches.
Worse sensor though.

Maybe you can disable RGB from Synapse.
My Deathadder V3 started to have button play: first the right button, then the left. I've used it for gaming only for a few months. Also, the front is narrower than the previous version of deathadder.

I feel the same way as you about RGB -- however, the (monochrome) light bar at the bottom of my mouse and the (monochrome) center-lit keycaps on my keyboard are actually quite functional, especially in darkened environments; at this point I can't imagine doing without them.

This is very much too little and too late. The market has been clamoring for a wireless Viper Mini like three years ago (and no, the overpriced meme that is the SE doesn’t count). Now, in mid-2025 there are so many clones and alternatives that this just doesn’t have a market, IMO. A hundred dollars, really Razer? That’s Hitscan money.
