I notice Realtek released the same driver 3 months in a row...

7092_02252015
7092_03232015
7092_04092015

7.092 Feb, March, April.

What are they doing?

All 3 are DriverVer = 01/15/2015 7.092.0115.2015 same dll's and sys files.

Ask them.

Realtek RTL8168/8111 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Adapter (PHY: Realtek RTL8211/8212) Onboard

is it a universal driver? maybe they're updating other ones in the package, just not your one.

its realtek what did you expect

This. They probably just added additional support for more audio devices but the driver itself probably didn't change.

vimdiff the two INF files and I bet you that the newer version has more hardware IDs for added support for similar codecs or off-brand codecs that Realtek sold rights to. Once again, the driver didn't change, they just added support for more hardware, not different hardware. If you upload both INFs, I can diff them and find out.
