Hi, i recently bought an ASUS B660-A STRIX GAMING WIFI D4 motherboard and, after installing the audio drivers i found something annoying. If you restart or shutdown your PC, after Windows login you don't have sound for about 5 or more seconds (the speaker icon appears with a cross) and the mouse doesn't work either. If i unistall Realtek drivers, the High Definition Audio driver from Microsoft works fine but with some cuts. Anyone knows how to make the Realtek USB Audio drivers starts with Windows, without waiting and, with that, fix the mouse too. The mouse does not work until the audio device starts. I hope i am being clear enough. Thanks and cheers.

Also, there is a long-running thread on here about certain audio drivers, perhaps you could find some answers there too :D

Hi, and thanks for your answer. The 2nd one i already tried before with no luck. The 1st one, didn't work. I hate Realtek USB drivers, but the sound is AMAZING!

Hi compa, if the system crashes is it because of the sound drivers? are you absolutely sure it is this and nothing else? Try updating the system bios and then resetting it to its default settings. It may also be a problem with your Windows installation, you can try to install everything on a formatted drive. Greetings from Rosario. Y aguante River Plate!!!!

Cómo estás??? Un abrazo desde Buenos Aires. Con la BIOS de ASUS, hice un whipe al m.2, formatée el disco e instalé Windows 11 de 0. Ahora arranca y ya tengo el sonido disponible. Aguante, River!!!

Aca andamos en plena lucha jaja. De primera! me alegra que pudiste resolverlo!. Ahora con River estamos sufriendo. Espero que la mala racha termine pronto!
Saludos! :peace:
