So I just purchased this:

So I will be in need of two things:
CPU Cooler & a motherboard.

Any specific recommendation? Nothing expensive but sufficient for this processor. I prefer a ATX motherboard but willing to go mATX. As well, USB-C would be nice.

I was thinking of this:

Not sure what your definition of expensive is, but the MSI PRO Z490-A PRO seems like a decent entry board. Z series chipset so you can use higher speed ram, has a USB C port, and saw a video review (can't remember where) that showed the VRM can handle an overclocked 10900K.

I think I saw somewhere, Asus and Asrock has some mobos on the B460 chipset that actually allow you to boost the clocks on the non K CPUs. Might be worth checking.

Here was the video I was referencing in my earlier post. The thumbnail is a bit misleading imo.

The Gigabyte board seems to have more connectivity, but weaker VRM. However, I don't think it would be a problem for the processor you're planning on running. They stated the Z490 UD was a decent board, however the video focused a lot on VRM capabilities. I admittedly haven't done much research on that particular board. Going to leave that up to you.

The msi b460 mortar is excillent for your build and built with solid VRMs, you do not need anything higher than it.

This is an enthusiast form so most would recommend Z boards even to those who dont need it, know your needs, the b460 mortar is all you need. Dont overspend on Z boards when you have a non k CPU

I was thinking same thing but then saw how there is a good percentage jump with faster ram. And since I got a pair of ddr4 3600 ram, I am more or less going for z board simply cause I can use it.

Otherwise, if I didn't have the ram I agree completely.
