Hi,Can I replace the GPU ATI RADEON 4200 HD from the motherboard Hawlett Packard 3047h with another one?
If not, what can I do to replace the GPU? Are there some steps that I could do?
I can only replace GPUS with low profiles?

You can't replace the Radeon 4200 HD because it is built into the motherboard.
However, you can install a low-profile video card, install the driver for the new card, and then disable the Radeon 4200 in BIOS.
What are you hoping to accomplish with a video card upgrade?

I want to animate 3d animations in 3ds MAX!

Sorry to burst your dreams but a machine that came with an HD 4200 integrated solution is so ancient it likely won't run 3ds Max or any modeling software at an acceptable speed, if at all.

That's a Windows Vista-era low end home computer... What processor do you have, how much RAM and are you still using a mechanical hard drive?

I can install a new GPU in my motherboard. How?
I thought that you can't do that because you already have a iGPU(integrated graphics card).
So it's possible to add another gpu to the motherboard?

That's the HP 6005 Pro, right? I also assume it's the SFF model. In that case yes you can replace it with a low profile, low power card. The Nvidia GT1030 maybe? GTX750ti? However that machine is quite ancient and while 3ds Max has modest system requirements I'm sure it won't do well even with a new GPU.

CPU AMD Athlon II X2 B28 3.4GHz
RAM 4GB (3.5 GB USABLE)
HDD 1 TB

If you have a PCI Express slot, it's possible, but at the same time the question you have to make is "is it worth it"?

Nope. No 3ds Max on that machine. The CPU doesn't have SSE 4.2, so it's below the bare minimum requirements as per Autodesk website. Even if you bought a low end graphics card it's likely that the application won't work.

Need to do a full rebuild, that is a 13 year old low end PC...

Time for a Ryzen 5 3600 with a B450 Motherboard with RX 6400/6500XT I say.

Where is the PCI EXPRESS Slot located in the PC? Is it on the motherboard?
How does it look like?
I'm asking these questions because I'm a noob!

Yes, it's on the motherboard, usually located below the CPU socket. It's where you install a GPU.

I put a red box around the PCIe 16x slot, lower right corner.

Which GPU do you recommend @Dr. Dro or any other users from this forum for my PC?

I do not recommend you spend any money on this computer, it's just not worth it. However, the GT 1030 is about as fast as that PC can support.

You need 64 bit Windows 10 and SSE 4.2 compatible CPU, which your PC doesn't seem to have. That means that 3ds Max will not work on your machine. Instead of a graphics card you should save a bit more and purchase a new computer.

While you can't use that old PC to run your app, you can still turn it into a file server for backups as there's a spare drive bay there. All you need to do is buy a high capacity HDD.

I recommend you do that and also save your work to the cloud. Backups are critical, or you'll lose everything, it's only a matter of time.

Now you have to choose a brand new PC to build or buy (build preferable).

I don't have a power supply in my PC. Can I install the GPU with the PCIE slot?

If I don't have a power supply does that mean I can't install the graphics card?

In your picture the PC has a power supply.

In your picture the PC has a power supply.
So I take the power supply and put it in the GRAPHICS CARD(GPU)?
I can see that my PC has a PCIE x16 slot for the graphics card but I don't know how to place it inside.
The power supply is in the right corner?
Please, help me! I am new at this!

I place the GPU inside the PCIE slot and that's all that I do?
I don't know what to do! Is the power supply in that white box? I have given you some images.

Can I use the motherboard PCIE 16 to power up the GPU? Is that possible without the power cable?

I have 2 websites with GPUs:
Which of these GPUs can I use with the PCIE slot only? Anyone?
I have a Power Supply from my PC(I thinks it is the white box) but I can't find anything to connect it into the GPU!
What can I do?

However, you can install a low-profile video card, install the driver for the new card, and then disable the Radeon 4200 in BIOS.
I can only install low profile video card and not high profile video card?

The PCIe slot has power, although some high-power video cards need more.

I would suggest the R7 250 2GB from the interlink page. It doesn't need any power from the PSU; if you cannot connect your monitor to it, you might need a DVI->VGA adapter. Does the monitor have a blue or a white wider cable connector?

But my motherboard only supports low profile. Can you add a high profile video card in this motherboard system?
Will it match?

You're right, there isn't room for 12cm of back plate this one has. Pity, it's the best of the small cards there... I'll find another one.

From what I see in the pictures you provided above, yes; this graphics card will fit normally in your case.
But that PC won't run 3dsmax....
