Respawn Removing Game Modes from Titanfall

Personally, I like Titanfall but the removal of game types is not a smart move on their part. However I never played CTF or Pilot hunter except maybe a few times so I won't personally miss them and it sounds to me like people were not playing them either. I just want them to focus and add more to the game as time goes on which if thats the case and removing these game modes helps, more power to them.

As far as BF4 and EA goes, it just got released to early because they wanted to stomp CoD. Which if they had just waited CoD kinda stomped itself this time and waiting an extra month might have made the game significantly better at launch. The game is just fine now and plays really nicely and is alot of fun to me at least and my group of friends I play it with.

Not defending EA for it, they force the releases many time to early which causes the problems that we experience. But as long as the game gets fixed im happy at the end of the day which in BF4's case has been done.

I dl'd tribes 2 but it was totally dead now. A few servers with bots. UT2k4 is dead. Once BF1942's plug is pulled (with Gamespy) the greatest era of vehicle shooters will be done.
 
well i gave up on ea back with shogun total war 1 when they just closed the mp servers.
I dont appreciate buying a game i love playing online Which still has a huge following today btw. and then ea say "well we milked this cow long enough, put her down"
so apart from shogun total war "which you can still play online if you download some hacked files and a host your own server app"
i dont have a single EA game on my pc. and wont either.
i feel that these companys should be forced to allow places like game spy to host the foyers/server if they decide to abandon it. i dont mind having to see a few ads "aslong as they arent stupid 30yr old woman hated by dentists. or muscle growth plant should be illegal adds"
What i do mind is paying good money for games that simply get abandoned.

the only company i let get away with this kind of shinnanigans was atari, when they released boiling point road to hell it was suposed to go online after a few patches.. a few patches came and did make the game very much better.
but all the online functions that should have been used when the game went online were in the options area. but they never put it online.
Back then i guess they were biting off more than they could chew. and only recently has GTA been able to achieve what they planned way back then. I let them get away with it though because that was just a bit to advanced, and then to much time passed.
but EA do this all the damn time. they milk what they can then dump the customers. and think well the idiots will buy our next game any way so who cares.
 
I can confirm that both CTF and Pilot Hunter modes are still available as game modes in private match form:

In fact Respawn brought CTF back to regular matches due to the backlash; like I said before, I couldn't care less, I don't play either mode.

Just wanted to clear this out, just finished downloading the Expedition map pack, and will try it in a moment ;)
 
does titanfall come with single player mode?
 
Honestly this game was DOA. The server population went from booming to non existant within 3 months. None of this was because of EA deciding to remove game modes, it was because the game just isn't that good.
 
I never have a problem finding any servers....I just logged on and at 3:30 am on a Thursday...several to choose from.
