To view this case mod, go here.

Specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2200+MOBO: Epox 8RDAEIRAM: 2x1GB DDR1 KingstonGPU: ATI radeon HD 3450 512MBHDD: Western digital 250GB IDE (primary, OS) , Seagate 750GB IDE (secondary).

Mods:
Made a new motherboard tray with cable management holes. Shortened the DVD drive bay from 4 units to a single unit. Made a custom power supply cover. Painted the inside of the case in white. Mounted the Hard drives vertically.

This is my first PC ever purchased in December 2004. The system has undergone some changes since then:- the ram has been expanded from 512 MB to 2GB- the HDD dies a few years ago but it was also a WD 250 GB- the gpu was changed from a ATI 9550 to the current HD 3450.I know the mod is not flashy as some on here but I'm happy with it.

Very nice. Worthy of a retro build indeed.

Very awesome ole nostalgic build man!!!!!

How did you bend the sheet metal? And how did you get the spray paint to stick to the galvanizing? Other than that, it is a great mod :toast:

Use an etch primer to get paint to stick to galvanized steel.

I started it with my hand and later I had to hammer it. It was a pain in the ass to bend but I had no other way.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

Enjoy you outdated garbage pc, sorry have no love for old tech. Good work on the case mod though.

Didn't your mother ever say "If you don't have anything nice to say, then shut the fuck up"?

Awesome thanx man, im looking at doing the same with P4 3ghz presscot build

Nice . kicking it old school.. I like the wood floors. Makes it look classy up in there! Some older cases are just begging to be chopped up and modded out.. 9 out of 10
