Review NZXT S340 Mid Tower Computer case.
At first glance, the case itself has a stunning appearance. Nice white straight lines, wide open window. But in all honesty, your $69.99 is better spent elsewhere. This is what happens when you take modern day technology, and mix it with yesterday's crap.
There is no room to comfortably mount a radiator, let alone two of them. You cannot mount an internal fan beneath the radiator on the top of the case, the mounting holes are to close to the back of the case. And they are non sliding mounting holes, meaning your stuck with only one option as to where to mount any fans for airflow. In fact, since putting this case together, my ambient and full load temperatures have both dramatically increased.
Even though SSD's are becoming a thing of the past, this case makes it impossible to mount them if you wanted to. The sata cable gets in the way of any possibility of mounting them flat.
The way you mount the graphics card is certainly a blast from the past, with required additional screws to hold a plate that holds everything PCI-e in place.
Even with the absence of drive bays, it is still cramped for room working inside. All of the threads feel cheap, like they will strip next time I use them. The sides of the case are flimsy and have a tendency too bow out and screw up the mounting slots.
The front panel is next to impossible to get off, compared to better cases.
Overall, what makes me the most mad about this case is the inability to choose fan/radiator mounting options. It's really not meant for watercooling, unless maybe you where only cooling a single block. But even then, you wouldn't be able to mount an all in one cooler if you wanted to. There just isn't room.
Spring the extra $30 and get a real case like from Corsair, where you know the quality is unmatched. It will saved you from much frustration. I've never had a case that was harder to plump for cooling than this case.
