RGB lighting

Hello. I am wondering if the CPU cooler officially supports RGB lightning via Asus Aura software (for example https://www.antec.com/product.php?id=707270&pid=58&lan=nz) is it possible to control it via other software programs with non-Asus motherboard? No difference between Asus aura, msi mystic light and other connection headers?

The Mercury RGB series works in perfect harmony with ASUS Aura Sync—simply plug into the RGB header on an ASUS Aura-enabled motherboard to access a world of color and control schemes for endless variety.

The above taken directly from the Antec product page you linked us to... first paragraph even.
There is potential for it to work with other motherboards RGB systems, but it is only guaranteed with Asus at this time. I also do not see any standalone way of control, nor is it mentioned.

I do believe so, they are just 4-pin headers.

I don't know if it's of any help ,but my corsair LED water loop uses mini USB on the cpu block, which leads to a standard USB out port on the mobo, in combination with standard fan headers. But that's for "breathing pulse",
and temp specific colors ,all other types of profile settings etc. I suppose that could also be expected on some other types of LED or RGB accessories. But it's the type of USB out header that every motherboard has had for the last 20 years
