The Roccat Sova MK aims to bring the benefits of PC gaming to the living room, with a mechanical keyboard built-in and support for a mouse of your choosing. It features a mouse bungee, backlighting, a wrist rest, and foam cushions to help make PC couch gaming a comfortable, and enjoyable, experience.

I could very much see myself using this... if I had that much money to spend on peripherals, that is :)

On the other hand I was thinking about the name. I feel like it's a play on "sofa", since Roccat is based in Germany, and Germans pronounce the V as an F, so Sova would sound like Sofa, which is also their word for "sofa" - I know, right, who would've thought... Another mildly interesting fact: Sova ("сова") means "owl" in Bulgarian.

If you put this under "couch gaming" you should have tested how well it handles various spills and how easy it is to clean. Because you know these are going to meet a lot of chips, sauce and pop ;)

Not a bad idea. I will include a paragraph on this for future products, thanks for the suggestion!

Also please try the "rage" test where the user tosses the device across the room when they get owned.

Wait, you can still get owned after spending so much money on a keyboard? :wtf:

Well sova means sleeping in swedish. Maybe there's some bloke on Roccat whose mother tongue is finnish/swedish, there is so many products named after finnish words.

Maybe you're right, I have no idea. I was just brainstorming :-)

Of course, but you would have to compensate for the added thickness from the base.
That is something I'm already used to. I use a rectangle of plywood with a mock leather overlay that acts as a movable platform for my KB&M. It's really easy to get used to.
