Founder Edition I can't break 3000/11500 without major crashing, and I got the FE because I read that the chips are binned, but I feel like I need to either RMA or find another 4090...

How many of you are dealing with this "cold memory bug" that I keep reading about? I feel like that's what's happening on this FE, but I don't know what to do here.

Unless you're watercooling it's not a cold memory bug but just a worse OCer.

Is it possible that the VRMs (voltage regulator modules) run hotter when denied air flow?
assuming they are not benefiting from the water cooling.

I ve left the thin foil on the pads. Gained around 10°C, now its 50-60°C ingame with my watercooling. Gained around +200MHz VRAM clock.

One doesn't always get that luxury; for example, transistors are more efficient when hot than cold, that's physics, not design (the thermal energy helps to overcome the diode drop)
