Don’t know if its f*cked and if i can still recover it.

I tried flashing the gpu vbios or whatever its called.
Cause my gpu was having problems like game stuttering ( seeing bunch of colors popout like dead pixels but with bunch of colors ).

The gpu was mined before
and i just got it for free, the person said just don’t overclock it and it will work, indeed it did work but yea still had these issues that i talked about further up.

Alright so i fixed it by just waiting a few hours.
Turning on the bios and doing the windows startup repair.
Something happend, no display, no lights on a keyboard or mouse.
Turned off the pc and on, and it booted into windows, somehow its fixed

OK.
1st things 1st. Tell us more about that card.
We need some pictures from card's labels.
Also we need the following pictures :
- GPU-z main screen
- GPU-z > advanced tab and from drop down menu you choose memory timings
Would be a good idea to save the BIOS and attach it here.

get pictures of the stickers on the card, you may have to remove the heatsink (re-pasting at the same time) and get pics of the memory module numbers.

What is that? Thermal pads?

Can you also make a photo of the backside without the backplate installed?

I think yea, never really took apart this gpu.
And i can’t really take out the backplate because it has some screws that i don’t have the right tool for. Or maybe there is a way that i don’t know about.

Hello.
It appears that in TPU database, the only untouched BIOS is the one you have above posted by @VuurVOS .
So unfortunately there is no other file that matches your Hynix MJR memory and card ID + subID,
You can ask ASUS to provide a BIOS for your card.
Who knows, maybe they will help you.

Yup, i installed it and that happend to my gpu.
Don’t really know how that happend and what i can do about it.
I think your memory is busted due the repeating pattern. You can try to flash the non top bios:

And it seems like i can't flash the other bios that VuurVos sent.
Cause: subsystem id mismatch

That one must be forced since it belongs to a different Asus ROG Strike RX 580 model.
Which version of AMDVBFlash do you use? To force the flash for Polaris card you must use version 2.93.

Flash instructions:
For RX 500 Series (Polaris) and Older:

Get amdvbflash 2.93

https://www.techpowerup.com/download/ati-atiflash/

Then look for Version 4.68, underneath 4.68 you will see a link to show older version, click that and you should see version 2.93

Follow these steps carefully:

1. Open your "C:" drive in Windows, create a new folder, call it atiflash.

2. Extract the contents of atiflash_293.zip to the "C:\atiflash" folder

3. Find the bios file you downloaded and rename the bios file to 5 digits with .rom on end Example RX 580, change file to rx580.rom (r****.rom)

4. Move r****.rom to the "C:\atiflash" folder

5. Open the start menu, type cmd, when cmd.exe appears right click it and hit "Run as administrator"

6. At the command prompt type in cd\ and press enter until only C:\> is on the screen.

7. Type in cd/atiflash and press enter, you should see C:\atiflash>

8. Type in amdvbflash.exe -i to identify the gpu you want to flash with a 0, 1, or 2)

9. At the C:\atiflash> prompt type in
amdvbflash.exe -unlockrom 0
(there is a space between the e and -unlockrom and 0)(0 is the number zero)
press enter and you will be prompted that the "ROM Unlocked" (or 1, 2)

10. At the C:\atiflash> prompt type in
amdvbflash.exe -f -p 0 r****.rom
(there is a space between the .exe and -f, and a space between -f and -p and 0).
(Or 1, 2)

Press Enter

Follow directions on screen and if flash is successful exit the command prompt and restart, windows should show up on screen

Well, to be honest BSOD are caused mostly by mainboard related issues.
If it were my computer i would check the memory modules.
To really test the card, i would take it to a ride....to a friend's computer :)
Let it there for a couple of days to function there and then we talk.

Hey, its me again. The gpu seems to be working fine, but i get some errors from radeon drivers whenever my game crashes. But BSOD’s are more common to me. I can get like 2 BSOD in a day. This might be my memory i guess ?

Hello again.
Yes mate, in some cases, the memory modules are the cause for BSOD.
