hello.
so, i was trying out a new MSI X370 XPOWER BIOS which apparently has the new Ryzen microcode. before the BIOS update i was able to OC to 4.0GHz with voltage set to 1.3875V (actual voltage was around 1.41V). after the BIOS update. anything over 3.7GHz and this system crashes (freezes with black screen) when stressed test it, regardless of what I set the voltage to. reverting the BIOS to previous builds doesn't help. resetting the BIOS and reentering the settings doesn't help. dropping memory clocks to auto doesn't help.
i dropped the CPU into an ASRock taichi, same thing. no OC.
does the new microcode require something special? i'm out of ideas here.
