I have an s20+ which yesterday kept on boot looping. Not sure if its a battery fault as i was getting battery alerts, also the back could easily come off.
Could this be battery related?Thanks

It could be. With no pictures or data dumps, it will be anybody's guess.

Do you have a memory card installed? On other phones. A bad microSD card can cause bootloops

Sounds like its completely kaput then. Either take it down to a repair shop to get it fixed or buy a cheap temporary solution and wait for samsung to release something new so you can trade in the borked phone for the new one.

Can you boot it into recovery mode? Press and hold volume up at the same time you press power button. Will take you to bootloader.

Bad OS OTA update even, its why i dropped samsung

That battery went kaput, and your phone is old enough where it was about to have that problem. My S10+'s battery just completely stuffed a few years ago, fortunately Samsung was still accepting repair service for it at the time and the replacement was not too expensive. See if they still accept repairs for the S20 series and it's not too expensive (aka more than what the phone is worth), the juice from 5 year old Android phones are just not worth the squeeze.

the back could easily come off.

If the battery is stuffed to the point the back is coming off DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE OR CHARGE THIS PHONE and have it serviced before you do anything with it. There is a real risk of fire at that point.

Extremely unlikely, it's an S20+, it hasn't received an Android update in years. It's still on Android 13/One UI 5 and it will never receive an update again. Samsung pretty much abandoned every phone from that era - one of the last security patches on the quarterly schedule for it will start to be deployed this week.

Not coming off but slowly seperating from the back which i think could be force from the battery well replacement is 60e and lines have appeared on screen so thats the last of its 4 years ig

On my S10+ it started like that and the back eventually popped off entirely. If lines have appeared on the screen it's not worth fixing it anymore. Replacing it often involves replacing the screen assembly alongside the entire case as one part, the screen can come off by itself but it's not meant to and even Samsung's official service centers just replace the entire casing instead. It costs almost as much as a new phone.

If there's anything important in there that hasn't been backed up, maybe buy a knockoff battery as cheap as possible to run the backup, but definitely look at replacing your phone. The iPhone SE 4 is going to release next month, and there's nice phones from China like the Poco X6 Pro that won't break the bank and should replace an S20 nicely
