Ok, this is the second 172N that my company has had do this, it is apparently a common problem (like the Samsung 711 requiring the power cord removed and replaced in the back of the units to turn on, series wide). This one is out of warranty.
I have three options:
Attempt to repair/replace the board on it.
Use the screen with another board (What??).
Trash the unit (I'd rather not, I'd at least like to use the screen for something, it is perfect).
The screen at times looks fine (with/without signal cable) but at other times has vertical lines running down it and looses horizontal screen adjustment. Obviously a control board issue, but I'm not sure where to repair or if it is possible to get a replacement board. HELP?
Thanks
Brian
