I recently got a killer deal on a 6990 that i couldnt pass up. so i decided to upgrade.
What i have for sale is a Sapphire 5870 VaporX 1gb ddr5 video card.
I traded a fellow tpu member for this beauty
The card works flawlessly. But please note, i had to upgrade to a 700 watt power-supply (from a 600watt) to power this beast!
Cosmetically this card has seen much better days. I got a really good deal on this card around 18 months ago. The person had this card (didn't overclock it) but had it water cooled. They lost one of the screws that holds the original heatsink on. I have never had any issues with it overheating.
Second, if you look at a screenshot of the card online you will see 4 screws in the front. for what ever reason, i dont have these screws. They don't hold anything in place and are purely cosmetic.
Besides the missing (and replaceable) screws the card is in good condition with minimal scratching. I don't smoke, so there is no tar on the card
